This Privacy Policy explains how Ospelia ("Ospelia," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ospelia.com, join our waitlist, or use the Ospelia platform (together, the "Services").

Information we collect

• Account and contact information — name, email address, business name, and details you provide when joining the waitlist or creating an account.
• Connected business data — when you connect a point-of-sale system, advertising account, analytics property, or email/CRM platform, we ingest the data those connections make available (for example sales transactions, labor records, campaign metrics, and customer records your systems hold). All connections are read-only: Ospelia cannot modify data in your connected systems.
• Usage information — how you interact with the Services, collected via standard logs and analytics, including device and browser information.

How we use information

• To provide the Services — dashboards, reports, planning tools, and AI-generated insights and content drafts.
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
• To communicate with you about your account, onboarding, and product updates. You can opt out of non-essential communication at any time.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use one customer's business data to benefit another customer.

Your customers' data

Where connected systems include your customers' information (such as loyalty or contact records), Ospelia processes that data on your behalf and under your instructions. You remain responsible for having an appropriate legal basis to collect and use that data in your own business.

Data isolation and security

Tenant data is isolated at the database layer using row-level security. Access within your organization is controlled by the roles and permissions you assign. Data is encrypted in transit, and we follow industry-standard practices for credentials and infrastructure security.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers to run the Services — including cloud database and hosting providers, payment processing, and email delivery. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.

Data retention and deletion

We retain data while your account is active. If you cancel, you can export your data, and we will delete it upon request, subject to legal retention obligations.
