Download your data or delete your account

Account owners can download a copy of all their Ospelia data or delete the account, with 14 days to change their mind.

Your data belongs to you. Account owners can download all of it or delete the account at any time. Only the account owner sees these options.

Download everything

  1. Click the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar, then Brands & Billing.
  2. Scroll to Your data.
  3. Next to Download everything, click Download.

You get one file (JSON) with a copy of all your account's data. Connection keys are left out.

Delete your account

  1. Go to Settings → Brands & Billing and scroll to Your data.
  2. Click Delete account…
  3. Read the message. Want a copy first? Use Download everything before you go on.
  4. Type your account name to confirm.
  5. Click Delete in 14 days.

After 14 days, everything in the account is removed for good. That includes brands, sales history, staff, guests, sites, emails, reports, chats and settings.

Your subscription is set to stop at the end of the current billing period, so you won't be charged again. If you keep your account, it carries on as before.

Changed your mind?

For 14 days, a red bar at the top of the app shows the date your account will be deleted. Click Keep my account on that bar, or under Your data, to cancel.

Remove one brand instead

If you only want to stop using one brand, you don't need to delete your account. Remove the brand from the brand list on Brands & Billing. Its data is kept, and you can restore it later. See Set up your brands and locations.

Your point of sale

Ospelia only reads from your POS. Downloading or deleting your Ospelia data doesn't change anything in your POS.

Guests who don't want marketing

Guests who unsubscribe stop getting marketing email. You can see them in Marketing → Guests → Guest list → Audience insights, and manage your do-not-email list under Marketing → Email & SMS → Sending setup → Delivery health.
