Ospelia reads your sales, items, labor, customers and Square Loyalty from Square. It only reads. Ospelia never changes anything in your Square account.
Before you start
Add your brands first (see Set up your brands and locations). Each Square location feeds one brand.
Connect Square
- Click the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar, then Integrations.
- Click Connect Square. You'll find it at the top of the page, or next to Square under Point of Sale & Payments.
- A window opens with step-by-step help. Follow it to copy your Access token from the Square Developer Dashboard.
- Paste it into Access token. You can leave Location ID blank and match your locations afterwards.
- Click Test & connect.
- When asked to Map each of your locations, match each Ospelia location to its Square location, then click Save mapping. You can also click Do this later.
Choose which locations sync
- Go to Settings → Brands & Billing and find Square locations.
- Next to each Square location, pick the brand it feeds. Pick Not synced to leave it out.
- Use the switch to pause or resume a location. A paused location keeps its history, but nothing new comes in.
Each row shows when that location last synced. Click Refresh from Square if you've added a location in Square.
Don't use Square?
Look for your tool on the Integrations page, or search with Search integrations. You can also enter a day's numbers by hand from Home → Sales → Overview with + Add daily record.
Square Loyalty
If you run Square Loyalty, Ospelia reads your program, members, point balances and recent activity about every six hours once Square is connected. Points and rewards stay in Square. See Loyalty from your POS, and gift cards.
Good to know
- Most reports rely on your POS data. Until Square is connected, many pages will be empty.
- Pausing a location on Brands & Billing is the quickest way to stop its sync without losing its history.
