Manage events, catering and bookings

Plan events, send catering proposals guests can accept and pay a deposit on, and create booking pages guests can use to pick a time.

The Events & Catering menu keeps your events, catering jobs and bookings in one place.

Add an event

  1. Go to Events & Catering → Events & Community → Upcoming.
  2. Click + Add event.
  3. Pick the brand, add a title, category, start and end time, and a description. You can also set a capacity and price, and link a ticket you sell online.
  4. Save it.

Click Sync events to bring in events from your Facebook page. Switch between List and Calendar to change the view. Past events are under Past.

Collect event ideas and requests

  1. Go to Events & Catering → Events & Community → Requests & ideas.
  2. Click + Add idea, or click Share request form to get a public form people can fill in.
  3. When an idea is a go, click Promote to scheduled →.

Save the details your staff need to host events, like capacity, pricing and setup, under Event info. Then click Save event info.

Track a catering order

  1. Go to Events & Catering → Catering.
  2. Click + New catering order. Add the customer and date, then add items from your recipes. You'll see the food cost and margin as you go.
  3. Move the order along: Mark quoted, Mark confirmed, Mark prepped and Mark completed.

The Pipeline tab shows orders by stage. The Prep & schedule tab shows what to prep by date. At the top, you'll see upcoming jobs, booked revenue, open inquiries and balance due.

Send a proposal with a deposit

Share the order's proposal link with the customer. They can read it, accept or decline, and pay a deposit by card. The deposit goes to your own Stripe account, which you connect under Marketing → Commerce → Payments. Print an event sheet with the pick list for the team.

Take bookings

  1. Go to Events & Catering → Booking.
  2. Click + New booking page.
  3. Choose Appointments for one guest at a time, like a tasting or a venue tour, or Restaurant reservations for tables. See Take restaurant reservations.
  4. Add your availability and any questions.
  5. Share the link.

Guests pick a time and get an email confirmation. They can reschedule or cancel on their own. See all bookings on the Bookings tab.

Donations and partners

Handle donation requests under Events & Community → Donations. You can send an approve or decline email from there. Keep your suppliers, sponsors and community partners under Partners.
