Guests can order food for pickup from your Ospelia website and pay by card. New orders show up on the Kitchen board, and the guest hears when their order is ready.
Before you start
- Connect your own Stripe account under Marketing → Commerce → Payments. Money goes straight to you. Ospelia never holds it.
- Build your website in Marketing → Sites & Funnels. See Build a website, landing page or funnel.
Build your online menu
- Go to Marketing → Commerce → Products.
- Click Online ordering menu.
- Add items with a price, a menu section and an optional photo. Add options like sizes or add-ons, and set how many a guest can pick.
- Or click Import from my menu to bring items in from your recipes, then Add to online menu.
Prices here are what guests pay online. Your POS isn't changed.
Add ordering to your website
- Open your site in the page builder.
- Add the Order online element to a page.
- Set the first and last pickup times, the days you're closed, how many minutes you need to prep, how many orders you take per time slot, and the tip choices.
- Publish the page.
Guests pick items, a pickup time and a tip, then pay on Stripe's secure page.
Run the Kitchen board
Go to Operations → Kitchen. Paid orders land in New as soon as they come in. The board refreshes on its own every 15 seconds.
- Click Start making to move an order to Making.
- Click Ready for pickup when it's done. The guest gets an email, and a text if you have a texting number.
- Click Picked up when they collect it.
Click Back to undo a move, or Print for a paper ticket. Turn Sound on to hear a chime for new orders. Late orders are highlighted.
You can also open the board from Marketing → Commerce with the Kitchen board button.
See your orders
Marketing → Commerce → Orders lists every order with its pickup time and kitchen status. It also shows orders Waiting for payment and abandoned checkouts.
