Ask your data in a chat

Ask questions about your sales, guests and marketing in plain words and get answers with numbers, charts and next steps, from Home → Insights → Ask your data.

Ask your data is a chat about your own numbers. Ask a question in plain words, like "How did last Saturday compare with the one before?", and get an answer built from your sales and marketing data.

Ask a question

  1. Go to Home → Insights → Ask your data.
  2. Pick a Brand, or leave it on All brands.
  3. Pick a Period: the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or this year.
  4. Tap a starter question, or type your own in the box and press Enter. Use Shift + Enter for a new line.

Answers come back as short cards: a one-line summary, the key numbers, small charts or tables where they help, and What to do next with buttons that open the right page. Sources used shows which data the answer came from. Tap a follow-up question under the answer to keep going.

Click Stop to stop an answer that's still coming, or copy an answer to share it.

What it can answer from

Your POS sales, busy hours, items, categories, payment types and labor, your forecast, events, your guest list and your marketing results. If a source has no data yet, like reviews or email sends before you've sent any, the answer says so instead of guessing.

Answers only use data you're allowed to see. A manager who can see one brand gets answers about that brand.

Your chats

Your chats are saved under Your chats. Only you can see them. Click New chat to start fresh, or delete a chat you don't need.
