Manage your guest list and segments

See everyone you can market to, add or import guests, read Audience insights, and build segments like regulars, VIPs or lapsed guests to send to.

Your guest list is everyone you can market to. Guests come from your POS, imports, your join page, your forms, bookings and orders, or you add them by hand.

View your guests

  1. Go to Marketing → Guests → Guest list.
  2. Use Search guests to find someone.

The band at the top shows your guests, new in 30 days, how many you can email or text, who opened in the last 90 days, who visited in the last 30 days, who is in your POS loyalty program, and regulars at risk.

The table shows each guest's contact details, visits, POS points, spend, expected spend over the next 12 months, last visit and tags. Filter to guests In your POS loyalty program or with 100+ POS points, or sort by POS points.

Audience insights

Switch the Guest list to Audience insights to see:

  • Overview: 12 months of growth, where guests came from, email and text permission, your POS loyalty share and your brands.
  • Email health: who can get email, and who has unsubscribed or bounced.
  • Lists, Custom details and Topics: organize guests and let them choose what they hear about.

The old Audience page opens this view.

Add guests

  • Click Add guest to add one person.
  • Click Import CSV to bring in a list from a spreadsheet, or a Mailchimp or Klaviyo export. You'll be asked whether these people agreed to marketing.
  • Click Join link & QR to get a sign-up link and QR code guests can use themselves.
  • Click Log visit to record a visit by hand.

Click Export to download your list.

Build a segment

A segment is a saved group of guests. Counts update on their own as your list changes.

  1. Go to Marketing → Guests → Segments.
  2. Pick a quick start, like VIPs, Regulars, Lapsed regulars, New guests (30 days) or Birthdays this month. Or click New segment to set your own rules, like items ordered, location, online or in person, or POS points.
  3. Save it.

The segments table shows how many guests are in each one and how many you can email or text.

Send to a segment

Click Send to them next to a segment to start a campaign for that group.

You can also use a segment in Facebook and Instagram ads. Pick it under Use a segment in Facebook & Instagram ads, then click Send to Meta.
