Sending setup holds everything that decides how your emails and texts go out. Go to Marketing → Email & SMS → Sending setup. It has four sections. Only the account owner can change these settings.
Sender & address
- Fill in From name and Replies go to.
- Add your Postal address. The law requires a postal address in every marketing email. If you leave it empty, Ospelia uses your brand's address. If there's no address at all, sends are blocked until you add one.
- Click Save.
Sending setup also holds your Quiet hours, so nothing goes out at night, and the Most messages a guest gets per week.
Domains & DNS
To send from your own domain, like news@yourrestaurant.com, click Use your own domain and add the DNS records it shows you where your domain is managed. Ospelia checks them and tells you when the domain is ready, including your DMARC record.
A new sending domain warms up slowly. Ospelia sends to a limited number of guests a day at first, starting with the ones most likely to open, so inbox providers learn to trust you.
Delivery health
- See sent, delivered, opened and clicked, bounces, complaints and opt-outs.
- Do-not-email list: click Find guests to search by name, email or phone and add several at once. Click Add an address that isn't a guest for anyone else, or type whole domains. Everyone on the list is skipped by every send.
- Clean your list: stop emailing guests who never open. Pick a time under Skip guests who haven't opened in, then click Save.
Texting setup
Texting uses your own Twilio number.
- Enter your Account SID, Auth token and Twilio phone number.
- Click Connect.
You can also set your Time zone, turn on Missed-call text-back & auto-reply, and set a Text to join keyword so guests can join your list by text.
Website codes
Sending setup also has the sign-up form and reviews widget codes for your website. Click Get the website code and paste it into your site.
Old links
The old Delivery & domains page is now part of Sending setup. Old links open the right section.
