Text your guests and reply from the Inbox

Connect a texting number, send text campaigns, and answer texts, website chats and social comments in one Inbox under Inbox & Work.

You can text your guests and reply to them from Ospelia. Website chats, texts and social comments all land in one Inbox.

Connect a texting number

Texting uses your own Twilio number. Add it under Marketing → Email & SMS → Sending setup → Texting setup. See Set up sending: domains, delivery and texting.

Send a text campaign

  1. Go to Marketing → Email & SMS → Campaigns.
  2. Click New text.
  3. Choose who gets it and write your message. The phone-shaped preview shows the character count and how many segments it uses.
  4. Send it or schedule it.

Texts follow your quiet hours in each guest's own time zone. Guests can reply STOP to opt out. Each text segment counts toward your plan's monthly text amount. See Usage allowances: emails, texts and AI.

Answer texts

Go to Marketing → Email & SMS → Texts. Pick a conversation, type in Write a reply… and click Send.

Use the Inbox

  1. Go to Inbox & Work → Inbox → Messages.
  2. Use the filters to narrow things down: Open, Unread, Website chat, Texts, Comments or Done.
  3. Click a conversation to read it.
  4. Type in Write a reply… and click Send. Use a saved reply, or ask for an AI draft.
  5. Click Mark done when it's handled.

Click Refresh to check for new messages. If a website visitor has left the page, your reply is emailed to them. Owners get an email alert for new messages.

Add chat to your website

To get website chats in the Inbox, add a chat bubble to your site. Go to Marketing → Sites & Funnels, open your site, then go to Settings → Website chat.

Social comments

Comments on your Facebook and Instagram posts show up here and under Marketing → Social Media → Comments. If you don't see them, reconnect Facebook and Instagram so Ospelia has permission to read comments.
